A parent recently admitted in The Times that she used AI to remove watermarks from her child’s school photograph, because she has “not been able to afford the cost of school photos”.

She then urged other parents to do the same. A typical cost of a school photograph is around £25.

She’s not alone, with some wrongly justifying it as a “parenting life hack”, ignoring the fact it’s an act of theft from the photographer.
