Reform UK members are descending on Birmingham for the party’s annual conference. The Schools Week team will bring you all the updates on our live blog below on 4 and 5 September. Topics being discussed on Friday will include a focus on improving outcomes for disadvantaged young white men. A panel will include Suella Braverman, Reform’s education spokesperson, and Universities UK president Malcolm Press. Later Ben Bradley, the party’s head of local government delivery, and council bosses Sean Matthews and Linden Kemkaran will discuss to discuss how “new strategic authorities are reshaping local leadership and public service reform”. Reform leader Nigel Farage will deliver his keynote at 3.50pm. And on Saturday, a panel will “discuss what policies need to be in place to address” challenges, including lack of attainment to youth unemployment, facing men and boys.
