It was a case of friendly GCSE rivalry today for three friends named Tom.

Tom Pierce, Tom Scott and Tom Morgan, pupils at Ormiston Six Villages Academy, all achieved As and A*s across the board.

Their ongoing rivalry to be the best Tom began in primary school, and will continue further as they all plan on attending the same college to take their A-levels.

Tom Pierce and Tom Scott both plan to study biology, chemistry and maths, with Tom Morgan undertaking physics, chemistry, maths and further maths.

Whether the rivalry will continue past college is yet to be determined…
