The exam results were supposedly marked easier but were they marked fairly across every school? A student with A’s and A*’s in the sciences at GCSE level chose to do A Levels in the strongest subjects. Chemistry and Biology. With two years of Covid Chaos impacting Chemistry students who need lab time she had a predicted B for her mock exam which she hoped to push up to an A. Final result D! She can’t believe it neither can I. To get that result means barely turning in any work! She put in an enormous amount of study time during Covid. Anyone else experienced a massive grade drop?
